EXERCISE: A LEAP OF FAITH

Do you experience fear or perceive weakness in an area of life that you sense you must overcome in order to achieve God’s ultimate purpose for you?

Consider engaging in a situation that forces you to face that fear and have faith that God will see you through.

For instance, if you’re afraid to speak publicly, volunteer to share testimony at church, or give a school presentation. You may be surprised at how much you grow and how receptive others will be to your brave act of vulnerability.

If you feel the desire to help in your community but aren’t sure how to get involved, make an appointment to visit a homeless shelter and volunteer to serve a meal. A smile and a friendly hello as you engage with those you meet is a wonderful place to start. Let God guide you from there.

You may be surprisingly enriched by challenging yourself. And you don’t have to do it alone. Go to God in prayer and ask Him to be with you as you strive to better serve your purpose in him.
